Bab 90: Chapter 90: Beyond Cure

Purple Summers was sweating all over.

She finally managed to get dressed, but her situation hadn't improved much.

Alexander Summers held her hand, trimming her nails as he teased, "Don't go around hitting people so easily in the future; it's a bad habit. You've got the strength of a kitten, not hurting anyone but yourself by drawing first blood. Does it hurt?"

He snipped off the torn half of her nail and wiped away the blood with a cotton swab.

Although it was just a small wound, he insisted on wrapping it in gauze, then affectionately kissed the spot.

Purple was still angry about the earlier incident and refused to look directly at him, staying silent.

She had become somewhat numb to it all.

Alexander didn't mind; he continued trimming her other nails before lifting her foot onto his lap, pouring some medicinal oil and gently massaging the sole of her foot.

Purple's heels were slightly red, probably from walking too much today and incurring some friction.
