The three receptionists were chatting happily, completely unaware that their whispers had been overheard. Just then, someone inside called one of their names, and she cut short the gossip, saying, "Alright, enough of that, someone's calling for me, I'll be right back."

"Yeah okay, I need to touch up my makeup too."

"Tsk tsk, then I need to touch up as well."

Just as she was about to put down her coffee cup to reapply her lipstick and leave.

That's when it happened.

Suddenly, as she turned around she was accidentally bumped into, cried out in surprise, and her body lurched forward, causing her to uncontrollably throw the coffee cup she was holding.

"Ah—"

"Heavens—"

The other two had never imagined such an accident, and they couldn't dodge in time. After screaming, they were splashed with coffee from the cup.

The coffee cup followed a parabola and smashed onto the floor with a crash, shattering into pieces.
