Baron Lawrence stared at the glass in front of him. The image of her returning home with Lyle Westbrook last night flashed through his mind again, and a wave of inexplicable irritation surged up. He tightened his face, reached out, and took the glass.

In his hands, the glass conveyed a warm temperature.
