"Hmm. Sit." The man, seemingly oblivious to her calling out, pointed to the spot beside him.

Jasmine already sensed danger, but since she had already arrived and was urged by Michelle, she clenched her teeth and sat down for the sake of money.

The man put one hand on her thigh and casually asked, "Do you know how to play cards?"

"...A little."

He handed Jasmine the cards in his hand, lifted his chin, and said, "Play with them. Your losses are on me, and if you win, I'll split the profits with you."
