He kissed gently for the first time, the tenderness almost drowning her.

After a long while, he reluctantly let go of Enna Clark, still gasping for breath. But his arms were still around her neck, his forehead resting on hers as he said, "Enna, come back to Linton City with me."

Enna subconsciously asked, "What's there to do in Linton City?"

That was the last place she wanted to go now because it was where the person she least wanted to see was.

"What are you afraid of with me around?" Baron Lawrence didn't say what they'd do in Linton City but held her gaze with his powerful hawk-like eyes.

Enna pursed her lips and looked at him, "When do we leave?"
