Eve Thompson's heart skipped a beat, and she abruptly looked over, only in that instant realizing that it was the ringtone of her own phone.

Her heart suddenly fell again, tinged with disappointment and hesitation, she picked up the phone and saw that it was Anthony Charlie calling.

His deep voice came through the phone, "What are you doing?"

Eve Thompson was briefly taken aback.

Calling late at night, the atmosphere between the two was somewhat ambiguous; Eve Thompson vaguely had an idea, but she was too lazy to think about it now.

She walked toward the bathroom, "Getting ready to take a bath and go to bed."

"Hmm, you go ahead and bathe, tell me when you're done."

Tell him after she's done, for what?

Eve Thompson uttered an "okay" and entered the bathroom; after showering, she quickly came out, dried her hair, and then settled into a comfortable position, cuddled up in bed.
