"Thoughts of last night fluttered through Iris Thompson's mind, causing a blush to rise on her cheeks. She quickly blurted, "Master..."

She didn't know what had happened last night, nor was she clear about Master's feelings for her...

She mustered a smile at him.

But Reginald Bates didn't change his expression. He nodded at her lightly and then walked away.

Iris was startled, "Master, are we not practicing martial arts today?"

Reginald continued walking and replied, "We're taking a break today."

A break... was it due to last night?

Yet his cold demeanour... it's as if nothing had happened between them.

Iris felt frustrated.

She brushed her teeth and chased after him, but the one who was supposed to wait for her was already gone.

Iris lowered her head, heading to the hotel alone.

Strangely, the new boss never showed up. Instead, he called hotel's original manager, telling him to run the hotel as usual.
