Bab 301: Her Savior

Tuzi's nerves were standing on their ends, as she wrung her hands anxiously. 

The rabbit shifter watched in unease from a distance, while the physicians tended to Mr. Chang, who had awakened just moments earlier.

She honestly didn't know how to feel about the entire situation. Her insides were twisted. 

The rabbit shifter just reunited with him. There were so many things she still wanted to tell him. And she would love to hear where he'd been all these years. 

There were many stories left to exchange between them. Tuzi felt like she owed him so much…

'Please be alright, Mr. Chang!' she thought in apprehension.

Taiga was present to ensure that Tuzi didn't hover over the doctors. He knew she was worried, but crowding the healers would not help anyone. 

Hoping it would ease the tension that froze her in place, he rubbed her shoulders softly. And for the first time in the hour, Tuzi looked at him.
