Clutching the jade piece to her chest, Tuzi knew she must find Sister YuXin one day, to thank the fox spirit for her kindness.

Raising her eyes to meet the werewolf's, Tuzi bowed her head slightly to show her appreciation. "Thank you for keeping this safe for me, Golun. And for so many years too. I am grateful for this reminder of Sister YuXin. She helped me during a very scary time in my life."

Golun's expression was empathetic. He remembered the sight of her, after the woman had single handedly defeated the horde of werebears that fateful day. To describe that event as traumatic was an understatement. Most men would have ran from the horde, yet this goddess here stayed and avenged her village.

Looking into the rabbit shifter's hazel eyes, he told her very seriously, "If there is a time where you feel scared again, just call my name. No matter what, I will protect you."
