His hand gestured to the bag. "I packed some baozi, crackers, and fruit in there for you both. There is also some money. It's not much… But I hope it can help you get far away from here."

Unable to help herself, a sob hiccuped from Tuzi's throat. Her hands shook as she held onto the bag. Mr. Chang had truly done so much for her and Feng already… He was still looking after her, even without Feng's presence. She couldn't contain the free flowing tears escaping from her eyes.

"Please go now, Zhuyi. Don't let them catch you," he said to her, his own emotions getting worked up in the process.
