Bab 56: Reading Minds

The weeks that followed were ones of pure bliss for Tuzi. It didn't happen immediately, but she was finally starting to settle into her new life with Feng and Yin in the village. Every day she was learning something new about being among mortals. No longer striving to be the perfect wife, her new goal was just learning how to be helpful to others.

Feng and Tuzi were inseparable. Now known as "Feng's fairy wife" among the townsfolk, she is seen with her "husband" whenever he makes deliveries to the marketplace. Becoming fast friends with the villagers, Tuzi felt more welcome and included than she ever had in the Realm of Gods. 

Here, Tuzi didn't feel like she had to put her guard up when she was around others. While the divine would often seclude her due to her lowly status in the Realm of Gods, she did not feel the same type of isolation with Feng and Yin. She had a family here now, and friends who cared about her.
