As Lionel Yeager sped up, the two trucks behind also increased their speeds.

"Yeah, why did you suddenly speed up?" Prajna Bates also looked puzzled.

Lionel Yeager said solemnly, "I noticed earlier that those two trucks have been tailing us. Now when I speed up, they speed up too."

Prajna Bates asked in alarm, "Are we being followed?"

"Mm-hmm."

Lionel Yeager nodded.

Prajna Bates asked, "Who could be following us?"

"Who else but those killers," Lionel Yeager replied calmly and added, "It seems like these killers are not going to let me off the hook tonight! Well, bring it on. I'll kill them one by one, or in pairs if they come together. I'll kill until they dare not mess with me again!"
