Christopher Robinson's recent trip to Fong Hong had taken a toll on him. Perpetual sleep deprivation during the first few days, a detour to the capital, followed by two all-nighters in Fong Hong after returning, and subsequent drinking engagements.

Even the sturdiest of bodies would not be able to withstand that.

All these activities had him looking noticeably thinner.
