The next morning, Amelia woke up to find Christopher already gone.
When Sadie saw Amelia, she wasn't as talkative as usual and looked at her cautiously.
"Miss Amelia, good morning."
Amelia felt helpless with this address.
She wanted to correct it, but decided against it.
As Sadie called out, her gaze on Amelia was cautious.
She figured that if Amelia showed displeasure, she would be more cautious.
However, it was Amelia's silence that gave her the desire for further conversation.
"Are you going to school today?"
"Yes."
"I'll arrange for a driver to take you there."
Amelia ate her breakfast while nodding her head: "Thank you."
At nine o'clock, Amelia arrived at school.
As she got out of the car and walked towards the classroom, she saw people pointing and whispering sarcastically at her along the way.
"You still have the nerve to come to school?"
Amelia was walking when she heard the sarcastic remark.
She didn't need to look back to know it was the idiot Sophia.
