Every year, before the selection exams for the Imperial Academy at the end of July, Female Officials from the Imperial Court responsible for supervising the exams would arrive at each state in advance.

They would review the students' family backgrounds, conduct, whether there were any stains during their learning process, and whether they are qualified to take the selection exams.

After the review, sixty students would be gathered a month in advance to participate in training in the Prefectural Cities of each state. The Female Officials would teach and train them.

After a month, the students with qualified training results would participate in the final assessment.

Only the top ten students would have the qualification to enter the highest women's college in Fengqi Empire, the Imperial Academy, to study and become the envied reserve Female Officials.
