Bab 80: Transition

Amidst the chaos, Michael desperately tried to reason with Azrael, his voice rising above the storm of destruction.

"Stop it, Azrael! The demon had been destroyed! You won!" Michael's words carried the weight of their shared grief, but Azrael's anguish had consumed him entirely.

"You! You are the reason why my Uriel had been killed! It's you!" Azrael's accusatory voice shook the very foundations of the earth as he pointed his weapon at Michael, his eyes ablaze with fury and despair.

In a desperate bid to defend himself, Michael conjured a barrier, its ethereal glow flickering against the relentless onslaught of Azrael's attacks. Each strike reverberated through the barrier, threatening to shatter it and leave Michael vulnerable to the Archangel's wrath.
