I woke up again and saw Tyche again next to my bed, reading her book. She noticed it. "Good, you're awake. Let's go and get you changed. You have a bug journey before you." I stood from the bed, and she took my hand and walked us to a closet. She opened it and took out what looked like a magician's robe with brown pants and a normal shirt.
"Change into this. This will be more comfortable, and you will get less attention. And we need the privacy where we are going." I nodded and quickly changed clothes. We walked out of the room, and I noticed that my body felt really good. This was the first time it had felt like this, but I chalked it up to the good food I ate.
We now walked in a new direction, and before I knew it, we were out of the big mansion and in a big forest. At the entrance gate of the mansion, the maid who made the food was waiting for us. She nodded at us and opened the gate. Tyche just walked by her, but I nodded back because I thought it was more respectful.
What awaited us was a carriage that stood before the gate. The animals that would be pulling us looked like horses, but they looked too special. They had horns, and even their hair was rainbow-colored. But the weirdest part of these horses was that they had wings. "What are these animals? I have never seen them." I asked Tyche how who was petting the animals. The animals were enjoying her caress with their eyes closed in bliss.
"These are Pegasuses. They are the fastest and strongest animals in this world, but that is something for later. Let's just go to our destination, and everything will be explained to you." She walked into the luxurious carriage, the door we saw at the gate opened by that maid. "Come in." When Tyche sat down and saw me hesitating, she urged me to get in.
Not rejecting her invite, I walked inside and was again amazed at how luxurious it was. The door closed behind me, and I sat down on the opposite side of Tyche. The seats were really comfortable and just as soft as the bed I had just laid in. I looked out the window when I felt that we began moving.
To my amazement, we were not on the ground. What I saw was the ground getting further and further away from us. I looked back at Tyche, but she was just calmly sitting there. When she felt my gaze, she opened her eyes and looked at me. "What's wrong, dear? Do you have motion sickness?"
She looked at me worriedly, but when she saw outside, she thought of something. "Is this your first time flying?" I looked at her strangely and wanted to say yes, but something in me said that I had done that before.
"I don't know. I don't think so, but I have done that." I explained it to the best of my abilities because I couldn't think of a better way to describe it. Tyche nodded at my words and motioned for me to sit down again.
I did as she asked. "You see, thousands of years ago, the dungeons came into this world. The people were dying in great numbers, and there was no hope for them. That was until the heroes came and slayed the monsters and protected the people from harm. One of those heroes was the hero of darkness."
She flicked her finger upwards, and the weird energy I had been feeling began to boil. The energy was spreading around my body, and when it was at my fingertips, I felt something release, and the energy that was at my fingertips began to manifest before my eyes.
"That hero is you, Lilith. You are the hero of darkness; better said, you were." She dropped shocking information on me, and I couldn't accept the situation for what felt like an eternity. "Wait, what happened to the kids I was with? Don't tell me I couldn't protect them."
My eyes began to water, and my mind began to go wild with all the possibilities that could have happened. 'What happened to them? Did they live well? Did they eat enough?' My mind was swirling with questions, but that stopped when I felt myself in a warm embrace.
"Calm down, dear. Every question will be answered when we arrive, but for now, calm down." I listened to her words and calmed down in her arms. A couple of minutes later, the door opened, and the maid from before bowed to us and signaled for us to walk down.
"Let's go. I want to show you something." Tyche elegantly walked out of the carriage and walked. I quickly followed her when I saw that she didn't have any intention of stopping and waiting for me. When I arrived back at her side, I felt a bit timid and didn't look up to see around me.
After walking for a couple of minutes, Tyche suddenly stopped. When I saw that, I quickly stopped as well so as not to run into her. "Look up, Lilith. I hope that this will answer some of your questions."
I slowly looked up, and when my eyes raised a bit, I saw that it was a statue. But 'Why would a statue answer my questions?' When my eyes raised slightly higher, I knew what I was seeing, but I couldn't accept it. 'Why, Why, Why would a statue of me be here?' My mind was getting wild again, and a headache was coming.
When I wanted to breathe, a spike of pain assaulted my head, and scenes began to play in my head. Although not a lot, I saw myself. I saw myself creating this city but only vaguely. I placed my hand on my forehead because of the pain, and I almost collapsed to the ground. Luckily, Tyche quickly caught my body and helped me up.
"As I can see, you should have some of your memories." I leaned on her body because mine was still weak, but after a moment, I regained my strength and stood on my own two feet. 'I want to know what happened to the kids. I also want to know what happened to me and how I did the things Tyche was explaining to me.'
I looked at Tyche. "What should I do to get my memories back? I want to find out what happened, and I want to remember my life." I said hurriedly, "I wanted to know." No, I needed to know.
"You should look around this world. Go to places where you adventured and saved people. That way, you will maybe unlock the memories that are buried within you," Tyche explained calmly while I was in a chaotic mood.
"Will you help me? Will you travel with me?" I asked. While I needed to know about my past, I also needed to wake up to reality and know that nobody of my family or allies was alive right now, so Tyche was the only person I had at that moment.
"While I want to go with you, I can't. I still have other tasks to complete, but you shouldn't feel too sad because I have already arranged for you not to travel alone." When she said the first part, I was sad, but when the second part came, I became curious about who would accompany me.
"You will travel with Louise so that she will take care of all your needs. You just have to care for yourself and find what is important to you."
The maid who guided us was always by our side. She stepped before me and bowed. "It would be an honor to travel with you, Lady Lilith." I felt flustered when she said that, but not to let the situation get quiet, she said, "Umh." And nodded.
"Now that you know what you are going to do, I will leave and wish you good luck. I have some stuff to do."
"Wait..." I wanted to talk some more to Tyche, but she vanished, leaving me alone with Louise.
"Well, I'll introduce myself again. I am Lilith. Thank you for traveling with me." I spoke to my travel companion and introduced myself again.
She nodded and looked towards the city. "Let's go and buy some gear. We need some stuff to ensure our survival."
I nodded, and we walked towards stores in the city to find everything we needed. I wore a mask so that people would not recognize me while I was here, and even though I was supposed to be long dead, you couldn't be sure.
...
Above Azir, two people were looking down and observing the two people shopping to find some items for their travel.
"You sure are a worrywart master," Tyche said to the man beside her. While it was normal for him to be worried about his woman, he was getting a bit more paranoid now—not that I disliked it or anything.
Getting out of my focus, I looked back at Tyche. "You're not jealous, are you?" I asked Tyche with a teasing smile on my face.
"Humpf, of course I am. When was the last time you gave me some attention? No, don't answer. I have the answer to that. We have not been one for twelve days, four hours, and six minutes. Master, do you want to abandon your luck or something?" Her eyes flashed with a beautiful glow.
While I had promised change in myself, I couldn't do anything but love a woman who asked for it now, right? "Looks like I need to pamper you a bit more." I hugged her body tightly, and she hugged me back. Her soft body was pressing mine, and her huge mountains were pressing against my chest.
I kissed her soft lips when we were so close that we began to fool around in the air.
