Bab 17: Elves and Human

"I... I wasn't... peeking..." Ilodyer retorted, and then glanced up at Rhys.

"Rhys sister really loves making up stories."

"Tsk," the woman shrugged her head unfazed. "What an impolite child, why do you calling me Rhys's sister."

Ilodyer made a face in Rhys's arms. "So, you also have a name too?"

"Okay, okay, Thalia, " Rhys stood up while embracing Ilodyer.

"Ilodyer just came to find me."

After Rhys's sister, Thalia, left, Rhys took Ilodyer back to the room and lit up the special bright candles of the Elven country that instantly illuminating the room.

Ilodyer approached the bed and saw the girl fast asleep on Rhys's bed.

"Why not let her stay in the guest room?"

"I want to take care of her by myself," Rhys placed the candlestick on the bedside table.

Under the soft candlelight, the girl's face looked incredibly pale.
