"Who are you!" Zod roared in anger, attempting to break free, but the black chains held him tightly, rendering him powerless.

"Guards!" he shouted, but his struggle were futile.

I had already enveloped the entire room with my power, ensuring that no sound could escape its confines.

Even if he managed to escape, he wouldn't be able to run away.

The room was situated in a different space altogether, a simple application of what would happen if I altered the frequency of a small area. 

"Don't be afraid, I'm not your enemy," I interjected, motioning for him to calm down. 

"Let me introduce myself. My name is..." I hesitated, realizing I shared the same name as Zayen's son.

"I'm the Supreme Archmage of the Alura Magic Academy," I declared confidently.

However, deep down, a twinge of disappointment nagged at me.

I wanted to immerse myself in another persona, but with Shao Mi present, I had to remain in character at all times.
