Days passed, and my feud with Kendra escalated. There were moments when she became aggressive towards me, but just like before, I chose not to engage or acknowledge her. I simply let her be.

I also frequently crossed paths with Noah, but he no longer paid any attention to me, and strangely, I found relief in that.

It was time for another submission of our designs, and I prayed that Ma'am Jessa would judge our work fairly and not be biased towards me.

Kendra and I sat in front of Ma'am Jessa's table as she examined our designs. She furrowed her brow and questioned,

"Your work is impressive, but why are your designs so similar, Ellie? It looks like you just made some minor enhancements." Her raised eyebrow indicated her curiosity.

I glanced at the monitor, feeling a sense of unease.
