Bab 338: 10-8

In a swaying, slightly unsteady gait, Yu Qingyu slowly stepped forward, appearing from behind the trees, still mostly hidden in the darkness of the forest. He was eerily quiet, not making a single sound - even his steps were silent. If it wasn't for Liu Wei's well-trained eyes, which reacted to the slightest motion, the man probably wouldn't even notice him until he was right next to him.

With a single glance, Liu Wei instantly realized that something was wrong. Yu Qingyu's eyes were glossy and blank, his lips slightly parted, his elongated fangs peeking out. As a vampire hunter, Liu Wei was all too familiar with this look. It was an extreme bloodthirst. A vampire who gave in to their hunger, and was consumed by it, to the point they lost their mind.

"Fuck," Liu Wei swore quietly, kicking off the ground, and jumping far back.
