"By the way, Erin Schubert has been banished," Yu Qingyu said as soon as they were left alone again. His voice was still weak and shaky, but he managed to calm down at least a bit.

"Oh?" Liu Wei glanced at the man in his arms, taken aback. "How come?"

"We investigated the cause behind your death, and found out that your rations were deliberately contaminated in order to turn you into a zombie. So, Commander Qin ordered for her to be permanently banished, together with Li Ming, Shan Tiegang, and the nurse."

"Hmm," Liu Wei hummed under his nose. After a moment, he added, "That's good. I'm sure the shelter is doing much better without her."

"Mn. It does."

They stood in silence, unmoving, Liu Wei still embracing Yu Qingyu. But, after being interrupted by that A-class hunter, the atmosphere between them was not quite the same. Both of them started feeling awkward, not knowing what to do.
