"Have you heard about Travis and Thalia?" Her husband patted the bed beside him as they readied to retire for the night.
It had been a long day. It was not eventful, but having the kids around felt like they were running a carnival. It was just full of fun and chaos. Add Bolt to the picture, and it was a frenzy.
"Yeah, what is that? But I supposed I should have expected it." She had seen the signs that the two could be a match.
She had seen the way the two had looked at each other. Yeah! They had fought like cats and dogs. But still, the attraction was palpable in the air when they were in the same room.
"I guess my friend finally caught the love bug." Damon wrapped his arms around her when she joined him on the bed.
She was about to say something when the door in their room suddenly burst open. Then, the kids came running inside, followed by their dog.
