"Help me escape." Those words echoed in her mind as she assessed the man before her. Should she believe him? Should she trust this man?

But what choice did she have? Either she took the risk of relying on this man to be her knight in shining armor, or she could ignore him and wait for her inevitable demise.

Jules guessed the choice was a no-brainer, putting her faith in this known convicted criminal. She did not look back as she followed the man outside the door and through the hallway.

"How are we getting out of here?" She anxiously asked while holding on to the little courage she had left. 

She had many more questions going through her mind, but she guessed chatting about it while they were running for their lives was not the right time.

But she would not lie if she said it did not bother her, thinking she almost thought this man should be dead. How did he survive? Moreover, how did he escape himself?
