"Is everything set, Farrah?" Hal looked at her when his men took the two women to another room.

It was just the two of them as they transferred to his office. Farrah sat on his comfortable leather sofa while Hal returned to his desk, flipping through several files.

His eyes focused on the documents in his hands, but she knew his ears were waiting and listening for her answer. Nevertheless, she took her sweet time, savoring the wine that swirled inside her lips. After all, she could almost taste the glorious victory that would surely follow.

"Well?" He finally looked up from his papers to stare at her. It was visible in his eyes that he was becoming irritated.

One thing she learned about him during the short course of their relationship was that he was a man who did not like to keep waiting.
