"Thalia!"

"Hey!" Suddenly, Carla's voice snapped her eyes away from her private thoughts. 

She did not realize she had zoned out until she felt her new friend's hand on her shoulder. "Oh, you were saying something." She quickly turned her attention to her, hoping to cover up her absentmindedness.

"I am just wondering what you think of Kaely and Roger." Carla pried, moving closer to her side until they were shoulder to shoulder while directing her lips at the dancing couple.

She quickly followed the direction of her friend's gaze and found herself looking at the dance floor. This time, her eyes were staring at a different couple.

She watched her new acquaintance dance with Jules's sister from a considerable distance. Truthfully, she thought they looked together. 

"I think they look adorable." That was what she honestly thought.
