"Was I not clear when I said no phone calls?" He annoyingly said on the phone when it rang. He was not expecting any call. He did not want anyone to disturb them.

He had explicitly ordered his secretary not to call him unless it was a life-and-death situation. However, she did not seem to understand his instructions.

"I am sorry, Sir, but it is important." His assistant apologized, sounding as if she had no choice.

But knowing her, he knew she would not have bothered her if it was not necessary. She had always been reliable. He knew he could depend on her.

"Make it quick. What is it?" He walked to the other side of the room, hoping to have a few minutes of privacy before Thalia came out of the other room.

He knew Thalia was only getting ready. Soon, she would join him for breakfast. And he was looking forward to spending more time with her.
