"Aha!" He responded, but he only half heard what the other man said. Lately, his mind had been running in circles. He was distracted.

Frankly, he did not know if he should blame guilt or love for his behavior. Since the accident, he would admit he was confused.

And honestly, at that moment, he could not care less if his plan had to take a back seat. But did it mean that he had lost interest in pursuing it?

"Sir, so what do you think?" The man before him asked for his opinion. 

He could only look at the other man with a blank expression. Although he knew he needed to decide on this today, right now would be simply impossible.

"I am sorry." He ultimately gave up, finding it reckless if he made a move without fully understanding the situation. "But can we reschedule this meeting for another time?"

At that moment, the information in his head was jumbled thoughts, mostly. They were bits and pieces of his private situation and his business plans.
