Bab 254: Chapter 254

"Goodnight, Angelique!" She patted her on the shoulders and tucked her under the thick blanket. She guessed it was a nice change to care for a girl. Frankly, she liked it. 

Somehow, it reminded her of her childhood, where her mother would ready her for bed. It was the few things she could still recall of her mother's memory that she cherished dearly. 

Her mother would brush her hair until she smoothened all the tangled strands. Then, she would sing to her with her angelic voice, lulling her into sleep.

"Goodnight, Ms. Jules." The little girl sleepily responded as she settled underneath the covers.

She could tell it was just a matter of minutes. Then, the girl would be in deep slumber. The young girl looked exhausted. But she remembered Angelique had quite a day.

"Sleep tight and have a sweet dream," Jules whispered, encouraging the girl to close her eyes before she toned down the lights.
