Of course, Jules understood what he had said. After all, they spoke the same language. But could they be thinking of the same thing?

Did he mean what she thought he meant? But she had learned her lesson about jumping to a conclusion. It usually did not end well.

"But I am willing to see where this would lead us." She whispered to the sleeping man beside her. 

She was not making promises, just like she was not expecting an undying declaration of love from this man. But she looked forward to the rest of their lives together.

Well, at least for as long as it would last.

Who said two married couples living together could not have a good relationship despite not having love to bind their marriage? Not her.

"I think this might work." At least she was now willing to put an effort into making it a real marriage. Besides, she guessed it might not be that difficult with a husband as attractive as him.
