Bab 51: Chapter 51

Something was, without question, wrong with her. She felt like she was already drowning. And she had not been in the water yet.

"You are not seriously considering his offer." Her mind nagged her as she stared at the blank space before her.

She still believed it was a trick. For what purpose was Damon doing this? She did not know yet. But she would be naive to fall into his trap again.

"But what if he genuinely wants to create a home for their son?" Was that not worth taking a risk?

Jules admitted the idea had never even crossed her mind. She had not seen Damon as a family man. Therefore, she had not foreseen his offer.

Could he be for real? 

At least for her son's sake, could they become a family?

Unlikely, but the thought never left her mind.

"What seemed to get your knickers on a twist?" Thalia suddenly showed up by her side, sitting on the vacant lounge while she lay on the other one, gazing at the blue sky.
