The frantic knocking on the door echoed through the master's room, shattering the peaceful atmosphere. Beth, who had been by the corner, jumped a bit before she approached the door.

Beth swiftly swung the door wide open, allowing Miss Celia to enter the room in a hurry. Her face was red from the speed with which she had run, and she did not stop to catch her breath.

Startled, Mikael's eyes darted toward the source of the commotion.

"Please forgive me for my impoliteness, my lady," Miss Celia exclaimed, her voice revealing a trace of panic.

She swiftly glanced around the room and spotted Aurel. "Miss Aurel," Miss Celia commanded, her voice tinged with anxiety, "return to your chamber and clothe yourself properly."

Aurel turned away from the window and faced Miss Celia, who was hurrying across the room with a determined expression. She reached the bedroom door in a matter of seconds.
