Bab 88: Thieves at the Villa (3)

With a swift kick, Talon broke the man's grip, who had dared to point a dagger at Lady Clarissa's throat. His foot connected with a powerful force, sending a jolt of pain through the leader of the thieves' arm.

"Urrgh!"

The thieves' leader let out a cry and loosened his hold on the weapon, which fell from his hand and made a loud noise as it hit the wooden planks.

Talon wasted no time in seizing this chance. He quickly moved towards the lady, who was shaking with fright, and took her by the arm. 

He guided her away from the danger zone, making sure she was not harmed. He also cast a quick look at his own sword, which he dropped earlier. 

Talon kicked it with his foot, sending it spinning on the floor toward him. He then stretched out his hand and snatched it with ease.

"Boss!"
