Bab 54: Stefan, The Cursed Genius

After some time, half an hour before the night fell, Stell and Lan arrived in front of a simple residence.

It had no bodyguards but exuded a dangerous feeling.

Stell looked around curiously as he followed Lan inside. After knocking on the door a few times, a barely audible voice could be heard.

"Come in."

Then, Lan opened the door before entering. Stell followed. After maneuvering through the house, they found a white-haired person with blank grey eyes and pale skin.

He was sitting in a wheelchair while looking out of the window as if he could see anything. Then, he turned slowly before chuckling with his pale lips. "Lan! I haven't seen you in a while. How are you."

Lan looked at Stefan silently for a few seconds before smirking. "I am good. How are you, Stefan? Still admiring the scenery?"

Stefan chuckled again before answering. "That I am. I am thankful for being able to see, even if I can't see."
