The following day, the elder who had volunteered to go to that place left the valley very early wearing the black robes which masked his features.

For someone like him who had lived for ages, doing this was nothing to him, or at least that's what he wanted everyone to think.

Although the dangers of going to that place were higher, as someone who was stuck on the same level for years, he wanted a breakthrough.

Even if it meant being attacked by the deadly curse and forced into seclusion, he wouldn't mind. While others might not know the benefits of making this visit, he was someone who once listened to the previous mage who visited that place and got lucky.

There were a lot of benefits which came after pain. He wanted to be strong and as long as he was stronger than others, then he would rule the organization and would no longer need to listen to others.
