Are You Looking for a Mate?

The two awkward boys sat in silence, their faces both red and flushed. All that humping and it was a simple sentence that was truly both of their undoing. A short and simple compliment was all it took.

"What are you looking for in a mate?" Xu Zeng asked as he averted his eyes. He didn't have the confidence to see the other man. He would listen but not look.

"Hmmm…" Xu Hu Zhe thought earnestly, "He should be hardworking, dedicated to our family, and know how to read."

"Know how to read?" Xu Zeng whipped his head around.

"Yes," Xu Hu Zhe said with another smile. It was nice sharing your thoughts with someone "I recently learned how to read, and I think it is important to learn and keep learning. They don't need to be a child, but being willing to learn how to read if they can't already, is very important."
