Erlang watched the young mistress…Master Feng spend silver with an almost careless abandon, as if it were as common as water. Despite the seemingly excessive spending, Erlang couldn't help but want to smile.

Occasionally, Xu Feng would glance back at him, a look that seemed to seek reassurance or confirmation. It was hard to decipher what was going on in Xu Feng's mind at any given time, but Erlang was certain it was not unkind. 

Everything was different with Master Feng. He was more than just grateful; he was so so so so so thankful to all the gods. This new master was really kind, a blunt difference to others who had tried to take advantage of the servants, like Steward Wu. He had never tried to touch anyone like the pervert either.
