"You don't like the circumstances in which you gained them, so you avoided using them."

Jamie spoke as he rested his elbow on his lap and propped his chin on his palm. Shaking his head slightly, he spoke up before Miranda could even think up a reply.

"I've told you this before, Mira.

It doesn't matter if you were captured and used in a Witch's experiment against your will."

Miranda's brow twitched when Jamie said this but he wasn't bothered and continued speaking.

"What matters is that you have those powers now. They're yours…forever."

Jamie stood upright and walked around Miranda, placing his hands on her shoulders from behind as he continued.

"Another thing I've said before is that it's not about liking or hating your powers. It's about living to see another day in this fucked up Universe.
