Bab 138: Beach Date

Jamie awakened from his slumber and attempted to lift his head. However, he discovered that his body was being held tightly by Miranda who had also slept off.

Looking at the sun in the sky, Jamie could tell it was high noon, meaning he had been asleep for 3 hours straight.

'You would think I would be tired of sleeping after doing it for 12,000 years straight…'

The man yawned lightly, before releasing himself from Miranda's hold via teleportation.

But despite the seamless action not even releasing an iota of energy, Miranda's eyes shot open at the moment after his warmth had abruptly disappeared.

"Wake up, sleepy head."

"…"

She stared at him in a daze, taking a few moments to recollect herself.

"It's noon."

"Indeed, it is."

Jamie grabbed her hands and pulled her off the chair, dragging her towards the sea as he continued.

"Why don't we go for a swim? We're at a beach, after all."

"Mhmm…"
