Pixie, the youngest of our group, screamed in horror. D, also taken aback, became angry. Meanwhile, Nyda murmured what seemed to be the name of the defender. Her husband silently held her hand as if to support her.

Whenever I saw such scenes of affection, I felt happy. As someone who had found my soul mate, I approved of tenderness and love.
