Although I was surprised by their arrival, it was inevitable in a way. Just as I would protect them, they would do the same for me and Jas. Our reasons had nothing to do with loyalty or affection. 

It was simply because it was what the man we loved wanted.

Until the time came when he was tired of us, we would never turn against each other. Although we helped each other, we were ultimately love rivals. 

Jas pulled away from me as she began to brainstorm with the Sirens.
