Bab 155: ~Hellbound~

"Sir, we've arrived," the driver's voice interrupted my thoughts about my mother.

"Yes," I responded absentmindedly, my mind still preoccupied with lingering thoughts.

I stole a glance outside, the surroundings reflecting my distracted state. "Wait here. I'm coming," I muttered, clearing my throat. Stepping out of the car, I made my way towards the meeting spot.

As I approached, I couldn't shake off the weight of my thoughts about my mother. I felt a strange mix of emotions, a subtle sense of accomplishment and a distant connection to her memory.

Derek had been waiting for about five minutes, his presence a reminder of the tangled web of relationships and secrets that surrounded us.

"Who?" came a voice, seemingly out of nowhere, disrupting the quiet atmosphere.

"Hey, someone wants to talk to you," a man approached William and said.

"Who is it?" William asked, curious but cautious.
