Jacob's POV:

I kept looking at him for a moment before furrowing my eyebrows and shaking my head.

"What? Are you out of your mind, Enzo?" I started and scoffed. "Who is putting those ideas in your head?" I added and leaned back on the couch, taking huge sips from my drink.

"No one put these ideas in my head, Jacob. I am telling you what I know is true," he argued back.

"You think I'm in love with that girl?" I asked, arching my eyebrow.

"Why not?" He asked in confusion.

"Enzo, you are either drunk or – or you have lost your mind," I said and stood up from the couch to get more drink for myself while he remained seated behind.

"What do you mean? Why can't this be true?" Enzo asked from behind while I poured myself some drink.

"Enzo, I am the mafia leader. The boss of this family," I said proudly and turned around to look at him. "And who is she? Just a random journalist," I added, rolling my eyes.
