Ellie arrived at the royal palace right on time, neither too early nor too late.

Just like the ladies-in-waiting of the Dowager Empress who had received her back then, they neither greeted her excessively nor acted impolitely.

They guided Ellie through the long corridors without uttering a word and with expressionless faces.

'Is it a requirement for ladies-in-waiting in royal families to be like puppets?' Ellie wondered.

When Ellie reached the location of the tea party, she was amazed.

The palace was incredibly beautiful, with a large gazebo surrounded by various colors and types of flowers, all situated beside an artificial lake.

The place exuded elegance and class.

Many women were already present, and Ellie might have been the last one to arrive.

Ellie didn't allow her amazement to show on her face.
