Bab 54: The Day the Flower Takes Flight Part II

“Unbelievable….” Nicki murmured. Her expression also conveyed how she felt.

Nicki’s mother walked to the pool with a tray of cookies. She shouted at them, calling them back to the pool by the house, which was around two hundred meters away from where they were. Standing next to her mother was a noble middle-aged man wearing glasses. Blanche brought his hands together in a wai (Thailand’s greeting) and slightly bowed to the man from afar. The middle-aged man brought his hands together to receive the wai and smiled back. After that, Blanche and Nicki walked back to her parents.

Blanche smiled widely, but the two adults who stood by the pool were not in the same mood as him. They looked shocked and were about to rush to him. Blanche turned to look around and saw Nicki collapse behind him. Her bouquet fell in the distance.

“Nicki!” Her father exclaimed as her mother cried in shock.
