"Alright, you can drop me off here," Shen Wan said as He Huai pulled up to the curb.
He Huai grinned. "Not inviting me in for a while?"
Shen Wan calmly glanced at him. "If you don't mind."
"Ah, so you see through me. Little missy, you're no fun at all." He reached out to pat her head, but she deftly dodged his hand.
He Huai felt a sudden pang of disappointment.
However, he had no real desire to visit the Shen family's home. "When you eventually move out and invite me over, I won't hold back, young lady!"
"Sure," Shen Wan replied with a light chuckle, silently thinking that day wouldn't be too far off.
He Huai went to the trunk of his car. "Here, today's spoils."
Shen Wan took the bags from him and quickly scanned them. There were about a dozen bags of various sizes and brands, colorful and quite impressive.
After watching He Huai drive away, she turned and walked inside.
