As I turned to leave the room, Jordan quickly grabbed my hand and pulled me closer to his chest.
"Lia," he whimpered.
"Do not be afraid. We are not fighting with anyone. I have a good plan and that's what we are going to do. I built Golden Gates because I knew a day like this would come," Jordan said, holding my head firmly against his chest.
"What's your plan?" I murmured as I relaxed on his chest. Jordan kept quiet and ignored my question.
"Baby, I have made a lot of mistakes in my life, but falling in love with you and marrying you is definitely the best thing and the only right thing I have ever done, and I'm proud of myself," Jordan continued. I threw my arms around his waist in a loving embrace.
"Let's get dressed; we are dining out today," Jordan suggested happily, held my hand and we began to head towards the closet.
