Although he could become an independent god, two were still better than one. In Alister's plan, he would let the gods in his pantheon visit other worlds to spread their religion and faith.

The universe was vast and there were millions of worlds in just one universe. If they were to spread their religion throughout the entire universe, they would amass a lot of faith which would, in turn, empower their divinity.
