Penelope was eyeing the clothing stores as she walked, a fact that hadn't been lost on Vol. She was hurting for clothing more than most of them. No doubt after living a pampered life for so long, the reality of having only a few sets of clothes on hand was hitting her. She'd been as content as a freshly fed cat when she'd had something as simple as a bath that morning – a luxury that they'd once more been lacking as of late.

"Mm," Vol grunted, eyeing the sky. In his mind, he'd been thinking it was morning, but already the sun had slipped past midday, pushing them towards noon. They were well on time with their scheduled arrival, but he hurried his pace on the cobblestone road nonetheless, bumping into more than a few shoulders in the crowd as he went.
