Bab 60: Ch 59: General Mei's dream [pt2]

It was hard to think of General Mei as an innocent person. Alex had only known her for a short time, but he had only seen her tough side that cared for others. To see her be this vulnerable with others was a new experience.

“Don’t worry Mei. You just need to calm down and listen to me. We can get out of this if we take out our father. Will you back me up?”

Ray asked as she held her hand out toward Mei. The elder knew that there was no reason for Mei to help her out there. Mei was not even included in the order and she was not going to be killed if she did nothing.

The only one in danger here was Ray and it was a little selfish for Ray to be asking for Mei’s help. But they were sisters so Mei did not mind helping Ray survive.

“I…I will help you. Even if it ends up marking me as a traitor, it won’t matter to me. I will help you out.”
